Pervasive Media Studio

The Centre for Creative Technologies is based at the Pervasive Media Studio. The Pervasive Media Studio is a partnership between the Watershed, University of the West of England and University of Bristol.

University of Bristol researchers working with creative technologies broadly understood can get involved with the PM Studio by becoming an Associate Resident.

The PM Studio is a community of creative technologists, researchers and practitioners. Currently the studio has around 150 residents working across themes such as:

What do I have access to as a PM Studio Associate Resident?

Free Desk Space that you can access 7 days a week

Studio Facilities (bookable meeting rooms, workshop space and a small maker space (with some access to equipment)

Network of PM Studio community with whom you can share ideas as they develop

Ad-hoc support with research, technology and artistic development

Events & Opportunities (Slack and Newsletter)

In return, The PM Studio asks Residents to actively participate by attending regular lunchtime talks, being a part of community conversations, coming along to testing and feedback sessions and attending our annual gathering event. Residents sign a contract that asks them to enact our principles of interruptibility and generosity.
